So, I'm not wild about Pedroia kind of throwing his pitching staff under the bus yesterday. I understand his point, but if you're Matt Barnes and you're going to get suspended for this, do you have Pedroia's back next time when he clearly doesn't have yours?

Yeah, exactly, anything like that needs to happen behind closed doors. It felt like Pedroia was more concerned with smoothing things over with Baltimore than he was backing a teammate that just put himself on the line for him.

Actually, if I was keeping score, it would've been 0-0 before they threw at Machado's head considering it was a slide that by Pedroia's own admission wasn't intentional.
