Not too bad.
I wish we said brekkie.

Two asshole parents from the opposing team at my son’s soccer game today would not shut up. I put my headphones on for the second half. After the game (the rare 1-1 tie) they kept going on and on about how bad the ref was. It was a chippy game, but it was balanced. Also, he had no sideline AR’s. Probably made $50 for his 90 minutes.

I was packing my chair up and couldn’t take anymore. I said, “There’s a ref shortage. If you can do better, take the classes and do better.” The dude goes, “He is out there. We are not out there.” I said, “Right, then just shut up. You’re embarrassing.” His wife, who was 100 times worse than him, said, ‘Who just said shut up?” It was rhetorical, but I couldn’t resist. ‘It was me. I did. Please shut up.” They got the last word in: ‘You’re embarrassing.” I couldn’t think of a comeback.

The best and worst part is another parent from their team was facing me and had his back to them. He looked at me and said, “8 fucking years of this.” And I felt that. They ruined the game for the kids and the parents. It’s one game for us. For that team, it’s every game, year after year. What a bummer.

Pretty good weekend, well mostly.....
Took my 6 year old to her first Jiu Jitsu class, and she absolutely rocked it. Came running over to me in tears worried that she might get hurt, but after a brief pep-talk she ran back out on the mats and finished off the class. I am surprised that they're getting kids doing arm-bars right off the bat. Hopefully her sister can join her next week. Whilst at the class I was able to put weight on my leg again after three days of limping/using crutches
My wife dragged me into a huge chat with one of my stepsons where at the end she gave him three days to decide if he wants to keep living here, and if he does he needs to rapidly clean up his act. This has been escalating for some time now
On Sunday had a good Father's day hanging with my wife and daughters, got to watch some UFC and relax...

What happened to your leg?
For the past few months my knee feels like it gets somethng stuck in the front of the joint, can't straighten it or put weight on it. Can last from anywhere from 30 minutes to days before it comes right. Haven't found a trigger for it. Walking across the room, pushing myself back on my office chair, getting up off the floor, sleeping have all caused it to go out where as (when it's in it's normal state) squats, lunges, jumping exercises - all fine. I'm seeing a specialist at the end of next month and will probably be having surgury again
