BOSTON -- As Jayson Tatum connected on another 3-pointer midway through a third quarter on Sunday -- en route to outscoring the Philadelphia 76ers in the period by himself -- he turned to a raucous Boston crowd and let out a cathartic yell.
"This is my s---" he said.
Fam had a media blackout today (game was 330am our time) and all sat down at 430 this arvo to watch together.
Like I said, serious business.

After an up-and-down AM, I've settled down nicely this afternoon. Zero activity to report, and, dare I say I feel a little lighter even. All around, a tough Monday though.

I've ate and drank well today, so I'm hoping to shed this recent water weight and become regular again. The workout tonight will help, too.

which is why i'm a big believer in drinking water throughout the day. it's surprising how much it helps.Coach wrote:As you get older, you just can't put your body through hell like you could in your 20s.

Indeed, it's good for weight loss, skin health, your heart, other organs, etc. Filling up now, dad.dad wrote:which is why i'm a big believer in drinking water throughout the day. it's surprising how much it helps.Coach wrote:As you get older, you just can't put your body through hell like you could in your 20s.

They say the body is 90% water, so I don’t see why I have to drink it much.Coach wrote:Indeed, it's good for weight loss, skin health, your heart, other organs, etc. Filling up now, dad.dad wrote:which is why i'm a big believer in drinking water throughout the day. it's surprising how much it helps.Coach wrote:As you get older, you just can't put your body through hell like you could in your 20s.

Oh no sweat - you didn't spoil anything. I hadn't been in the thread until after watching the game anyway, it just scared me when I saw "what could have been".96583UP wrote:fuck man, so sorry. didn't mean to spoil the outcomeCoach wrote:Of course, let's go Celts!Higgs wrote:Whilst I fully appreciate this anecdote and agree it is a solid addition to this thread, may I request that we don't post any NBA spoilers of any sort outside of the NBA thread until at least 12 hours after gametime? I too ride this train. I drink far too little water, I'm sure.spike wrote:They say the body is 90% water, so I don’t see why I have to drink it much.Coach wrote:Indeed, it's good for weight loss, skin health, your heart, other organs, etc. Filling up now, dad.dad wrote:which is why i'm a big believer in drinking water throughout the day. it's surprising how much it helps.Coach wrote:As you get older, you just can't put your body through hell like you could in your 20s.
