Oh absolutely — the Aeroplane Flies High box was definitely cheaper new than a bootleg CD. Those things were insane. But in those pre-CDR/download days, it really felt like access to something special.

Me too, I thought I might finally see a Smashing Pumpkins show if that was the case.

In fact, I kind of presumed Jeff got pushed out because Billy felt a third guitarist was superfluous now James was back.
