I'm sure this goes without saying but ... I'll ask anyway: Assuming the 22 teams participating are the teams with the 22 best records at the time of Rudy Gobert trying to kill us all?

Gobert wasn't the only player to test positive...

And he thinks LeBron is MVP! He's really testing Verb's love lately.

Old coaches aren't going to be allowed to be on the bench to "protect them from getting covid". Might as well just dress everyone up in the Goofy suits. This shit is duuuummb.

Now that would be something. Better yet, make them dress as their team's mascot.

The only guys who want to play this dumb shit are legacy hunters and maybe guys who are so terrible with their money the lockdown made them broke.

Kyle Korver is going to be labeled a racist now just for wanting a ring with this year's Bucks team at the tail end of his career.

maybe the silver lining is this will lead to the end of the 192-game NBA regular season

If the season shortens it won't be by much. These teams aren't going roll over on 20 games worth of revenue. And where does that narrative anyway? Will teams just eventually play one game per season? Is your attention span really that fucked?

No fans at games next year "appears likely". The NBA is over. Put out last dance 2 now.

These guys are going to submarine this whole thing and then throw a child fit when they don't get their full pay. I love the NBA, but for someone like Lou Williams to think him playing basketball on tv has the power to distract from BLM in any meaningful way proves how out of touch with reality these guys are. Like I said, I'm a huge fan and I could really give a fuck about a stupid Orlando bubble asterisk tournament anyway. Imagine the casual fan, they won't even notice.

I can't even listen to NBA pods anymore because of this bullshit. Next week they will all be contorting themselves into agreeing that sitting the return to play plan out will bring MLK Jr back to life and end inequality when last week the blog boys were all in. Instead of hearing Zach Lowe slurp on food and drink during Lowe Post we'll hear him slurping on player cock.
