Yeah that was brutal. He gave himself whiplash trying to walk that back. Unfortunately, this overshadowed Bosh saying that the Pacers' arena was as white as a Trump rally.

How do you go after Indianapolis instead of Utah and Boston?

Racist arena power rankings:

1. Boston
2. Utah
3. Okc
4. Indiana
5. Orlando

When I used to live in Portland, all the games I went to were mostly white people in the stands.

Well it was in context of the Pacers-Heat 2013 playoff matchup. He talked about how Hoosiers still dominates their mindset: a team of white boys playing the right way beating the city team with black players, etc.

They're gonna be awfully conflicted when Robinson and Herro are raining down 3s on them in the first round.

There were basically no white guys on the 13-14 Pacers. Tyler Hansbrough and one of the Plumlees. Stupid take by Bosh.

Full quote:
“It’d be hard to overstate the influence ‘Hoosiers’ still has on that town,” wrote Bosh. “And if you haven’t seen that movie in a while, you might not remember the racial undertones, but we did. ‘Hoosiers’ is about a team of white guys who played the right way taking down the City Boys, who just so happened to be Black. And any time you travel to Indiana for an NBA game, you’re faced with the same narrative: This is basketball country. Sure, many of the players on the Pacers were Black, but have you ever seen the crowd in Bankers Life Fieldhouse? Shit’s as white as a Trump rally.”

White guys suck at basketball. There was even a movie called White Men Can't Jump. Of course the team from the city in Hoosiers was black. Our Olympic team is 90 percent black. If you are going to make a basketball underdog movie about a team from the sticks (where less black people live), it's going to be about unathletic white guys. But hey, let's cancel the Indiana Pacers now because Chris Bosh is bored and wants to get involved in the circle jerk where all entertainment is now rooted in cancel culture.

Unless.... Hoosiers was based at an Indian reservation or something.

When Kirk Hinrich tackled LeBron that one time, it wasn't cool because it was white on black violence, it was cool because Hinrich was a goggled white guy standing up to a giant black guy 10 times the athlete he will ever be simply due to genetics alone.

I hope LeBron ends up with six titles but one is this year so he'll always be looked at as not quite catching Jordan
