I don't think the administration broke any laws, but their attempts to control the story destroyed trust in public health. We are still digging out, and may never fully recover. I mean, fucking parents whose kids have died of measles are swearing that not vaccinating was the smart play.

Buried in that was the real reason, not covid, but that they wanted to be able to spew election denial stuff freely
