Maybe Stone is the problem
there's two very different ways to read that: an off-the-cuff "that's fine!" between friends, or a cynical "whatever, you fix it, it's FINE"

No. It was 100% meant in a positive way. Like: «of course you can change it, you are the one that’s going to be singing it.»
Really really weird that someone would read a negative into it.
I actually listened to it, all the good songs are at the beginning (minus Superblood Wolfmoon, what a piece of shit) and then when it gets to song 7 (I think, whatever the extremely dad rock sounding one is) it falls off a cliff into suck city.

Sounds like Take the Long Way was totally meant for Soundgarden and they are being weird about it. Would be great with high register Cornell vocals in the chorus. Interesting that EV gets songwriting credits for Dance, when Matt and Stone wrote it!
