Patrick Mahomes played one of the worst games of his career and still brought his team back from a ten point deficit to an eleven point win. In 7 mins. He's a complete monster and I love him.

Damien Williams still should have been MVP though.

That was a night I'll remember for the rest of my life. It still feels like a dream. I can't believe any of this is real.

A buddy of mine has some great photos of his 8-year-old son and his group of friends sitting stock still and watching the halftime show slack-jawed. There were certainly some awakenings last night.

The first 3 and half quarters only took 3 hours. It was totally a 49ers kind of game until it wasn't. Then it definitely wasn't.

People who are complaining the halftime show was "too sexual" or whatever, obviously haven't spent a second outside of their suburban neighborhood. I'd love to take these people to South Beach next time I go.

Also, isn't the tongue motion Shakira did something cultural? Like it has meaning? I'm already sick of the memes about it being posted by the same people that were also posting "I don't speak spanish" last night during halftime.

Also, pretty sure the majority of people complaining about it are white people, disguising it as some moral stance when in reality the show was just "too latin" for them.

I'm sure the number of people whom complain about the halftime show are a microscopic percentage of the people who actually watch it, but since their complaints come off as nails on a chalkboard, it just seems louder. It's just sad, really. I'm a defeated, deflated, and depressed father of three who didn't even watch the friggin' Super Bowl but ended up watching the halftime show because my wife DVR'd it, and those harmless 15 minutes gave me a brief stirring (shout out to The Giver fans) and I reached out and grabbed my wife's ass and we both laughed. There are people out there who feel the same feelings and complain because they're ashamed of being aroused. Get over yourselves.

One good thing to come out of it is that afterwards, my girlfriend showed me a video of her doing a performance of a Shakira song when she was in her twenties. Then we had sex.
