Unbelievable. They have a legit chance to go from worst to first in a very tough Western Conference. And the only major changes have been Roy and MacKinnon. I'm interested to see how Roy handles these kids in the playoffs. Especially with arguably their best player out for at least the first round.
I'm not expecting them to be playing in June (but shit, they ARE on fire), yet I expect a lot of hardware when it comes to the regular season awards.

For people who reeeaaalllyyy follow NHL:. How likely is a Seattle team in the next 5 years and is that likely to be relocation (who?) or expansion?

The last time the Leafs made it to the finals, let alone won a Stanley Cup, was 17 years before I was born. Over the last decade, they've been the laughing stock of the NHL (non-Oilers division).
Yet somehow I've never found a season as dispiriting as 2013-14.

I like to think that being a Leafs fan all these years has made me a stronger person. I'm sure you can understand the sentiment.

As much as I enjoy an epic Leaf's collapse, the NHL is better off with a competitive team in Toronto.
The only reason they become a laughing stock is because the Leafs-homers (guys like Glen Healy) had them pegged as cup contenders after one measly playoff round last year.

Have you ever listened to a word Glenn Healy has said? He makes it abundantly clear every Saturday night that he hates everything about the Leafs.
I don't think anyone had Toronto pegged as anything more than a potential playoff team.

They were good, consistent bed shitters. The Leafs struggled in that regard for the first few months of the season, but they sure managed to cram a whole lot of bit shittage into the last few weeks.

we blew like a 3 goal lead in 5 minutes against montreal 2 weeks ago. I mean, we missed the playoffs by 5 points. It's just kind of frustrating when you have the skill and throw it away anyway.
