I like the smoking bans indoors but using bad science as the justification just allows people to dismiss science.

Where I live they want to make outdoor public spaces such as beaches and parks smoke free. Ridiculous but I am sure someone will pull out some half-baked clench report to say that ban is for the safety of the people.

I don't give a shit about the safety of it outside. What I do give a shit about is how fucking annoying it is if I'm trying to relax in a park, on the pier, etc. and instead of nature I smell a god damn cigarette.

I miss smoky bars. It's just not the same now.
