Shark has been jumped
The Mandalorian is bringing a familiar helmet back to the Star Wars galaxy.
Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in 2002's Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, will appear in season two of the Disney+ Star Wars series.
Sources say Morrison will play Boba Fett, the famed bounty hunter who first appeared on the big screen

Re: Star Wars : The Mandalorian (Disney+ 2019)
I mean since the project was originally designed and pitched as a Boba Fett series, yeah. JF not only wanted him to be in the first season, he wanted the show to be ABOUT him. So, yeah, this is perfect. Virtually everyone predicted he would be an antagonist in S2. Makes perfect sense.dimejinky99 wrote:durdencommatyler wrote:Nah.

And I wouldn't be surprised if this series isn't long for the world. I really think you're gonna see like 3 (MAYBE 4) seasons and a movie.

Quit your bitchin'. As long as it's something you like, it's the best thing ever done and if people don't like it, they don't like SW. But if it's something you don't care for, it's the worst idea ever and shouldn't even be done and the people that do like it shouldn't even like SW.

Re: Star Wars : The Mandalorian (Disney+ 2019)
To be fair, though, Palpatine's return isn't explained and feels a little out of left field. And I say that as someone who likes TROS more than most and doesn't really have an issue with Palp's return. It's not that most people hated THAT he returned -- most people were pumped about the idea when that trailer dropped. It's HOW he returned that gets to folks.dimejinky99 wrote:Palpatine returned is waaaaaaaah

We need to see how the Fett return is handled. The idea of bringing him back is fun and exciting. But like everything, it'll all depend on execution.

Re: Star Wars : The Mandalorian (Disney+ 2019)
Canon is also littered with hints and implications that Fett (or at least his armor) somehow made it out of that pit. So there's some groundwork already laid for those who dive into supplemental material.
That won't be enough, though. I'm sure the show will handle it better than the film. Mostly because the show has 8 episodes to deal with it.

I doubt he'll be a very big part of this at all. Surely not all 8 episodes.durdencommatyler wrote:Canon is also littered with hints and implications that Fett (or at least his armor) somehow made it out of that pit. No. But you have all that room to tell the story if you need it.wease wrote:I doubt he'll be a very big part of this at all.
