I think he's just insulated. Surrounded by yes men, etc.

Of course you think that.

For the record, he is not "declining" musically in any way, shape, or form.
You know as well as I do it's completely subjective. But my feeling is that he did three terrific hip hop albums (his first three), two amazing pieces of art (808s and Yeezus), and three bloated and profoundly stupid albums that have somehow achieved much acclaim (MBDTF, Life of Pablo, and Watch the Throne).
Ugh

That to me is a strong indicator the man is sick.

It's my favorite Kanye album, and probably in my top 5 albums of the last decade.

Does Kanye do drugs besides weed, you think? I doubt it.

MBDTF is a masterpiece.

As for Kanye, i think its a shame he is doing only 3 songs, cancelling because of his voice or because Kim got robbed but thats how it is.
Nothing new here, Axl Rose used to do this kind of stuff every time GNR played back then.

This does feel like it's getting into Axl territory. Not just the late start/short set but the rants/public comments as well. I look forward to Kanye's swimming with the dolphins video.

Cancelling is one thing, and I don't think anyone would blame him if there were a family emergency or medical problem, but cutting shows short and spending 40 minutes on political rants is another thing. I would feel robbed if I paid to see that. But I guess they are getting refunds.

He's a ten thousand foot giant from Mars now: Too far removed from humanity to be very interesting. He's smart enough to know the freedom money brings, but there doesn't seem to be much thoughtfulness behind the bizarre shit he says.

Yeah, i still consider him the ultimate rock star. Nobody did so much crazy stuff back then and still did whatever he wanted to. Kanye is in that league for sure, and in a pretty difficult time because everything needs to be so fuckin PC these days.

Not to sound like a drama queen or anything, but I'd leave work if my wife got robbed at gunpoint too.
