still no shipping confirmation, but i should have a busy enough weekend that i hopefully wont worry too much about having to wait till tuesday
If you're OK with Sirens, you should be OK with a lot of this album.broken iris wrote:ABNorman wrote:Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:Sgt. Crackpot wrote:bodysnatcher wrote:Lament wrote:harmless wrote:So which of you guys have avoided the stream?![]()
But it's getting harder given all the praise for Jeff on this album. I really liked his RNDM stuff, so I am pretty excited to here what he adds to LB. That and MYM and Sirens have finally washed the shit-stain of Ole from my ears, so I am ready to be showered in late career mediocrity.
same... but i never expected it to reach Canada by the release date anyway..Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:still no shipping confirmation, but i should have a busy enough weekend that i hopefully wont worry too much about having to wait till tuesday

There's a small section of cassette-only releases from small bands at my local record store. Pretty cool, except I have no way to play them.Lament wrote:True fact.Heathen wrote:cassettes are the hip thing right nowDr. Van Nostrand wrote:bodysnatcher wrote:Guys, is this being released on cassette? I sometimes wish I still had a cassette player, cause every now and then I'll be in a store where they're selling boxes of cassettes that are like 100 for a dollar.bodysnatcher wrote:There's a small section of cassette-only releases from small bands at my local record store. I drive a 2006 Nissan Maxima and it came with a tape deck as well as a CD player.Lament wrote:I sometimes wish I still had a cassette player, cause every now and then I'll be in a store where they're selling boxes of cassettes that are like 100 for a dollar.bodysnatcher wrote:There's a small section of cassette-only releases from small bands at my local record store. Do you still use it?cutuphalfdead wrote:I drive a 2006 Nissan Maxima and it came with a tape deck as well as a CD player.Lament wrote:I sometimes wish I still had a cassette player, cause every now and then I'll be in a store where they're selling boxes of cassettes that are like 100 for a dollar.
I've had this car for two years and I've never used the tape deck.Lament wrote:Do you still use it?cutuphalfdead wrote:I drive a 2006 Nissan Maxima and it came with a tape deck as well as a CD player.Lament wrote:I sometimes wish I still had a cassette player, cause every now and then I'll be in a store where they're selling boxes of cassettes that are like 100 for a dollar.
First PJ I ever bought was a PJ bootleg on cassette in 1991 from a street vendor on St. Mark's Place in NYC. Those days were pretty cool.Lament wrote:Do you still use it?cutuphalfdead wrote:I drive a 2006 Nissan Maxima and it came with a tape deck as well as a CD player.Lament wrote:I sometimes wish I still had a cassette player, cause every now and then I'll be in a store where they're selling boxes of cassettes that are like 100 for a dollar.
Every now and then I'll come across a box of old cassettes from the 90's/early 00's (mixes and bootlegs and whatnot) and wish I had an easy way to play them. I feel like if I still had a cassette player in my car I'd use it more regularly than an average person would think.
I'm gonna send you mix tapes covered in stickers and full of songs that describe the feelings I have for you.cutuphalfdead wrote:I've had this car for two years and I've never used the tape deck.Lament wrote:Do you still use it?cutuphalfdead wrote:I drive a 2006 Nissan Maxima and it came with a tape deck as well as a CD player.Lament wrote:I sometimes wish I still had a cassette player, cause every now and then I'll be in a store where they're selling boxes of cassettes that are like 100 for a dollar.
