I’m down to two days a week in the office. Loving the extra time. Might even go for a walk at lunch today.

I'm rapidly depreciating. But fuck it. YOLO!

Working for super evil mega corp was soul destroying anyway.

Hired a new girl about a month ago. After her initial training period, she’s needed more time for training. No problem. I knew going in there were some skills she lacked and we had a good team that would be able to teach her. Plus, I’m always willing to train longer to have a better skilled employee. But, she’s been late every single day she’s come in for training. Every day. And I’m not talking a minute or two. I mean one day she’s 20 minutes late, the next she’s 75 minutes late. And it’s always these bullshit excuses. So I had her Manager talk to her about it yesterday. Well today, it’s now 3:30pm and she hasn’t gotten there yet. The shift started at 8am. She keeps having this excuse about having to get her phone fixed. So I sent her a text to tell her she needs to decide if she actually wants this job or not. That we take being at work and being on time seriously and if that’s not something she can do we need to just go ahead and separate now.

Waiting for response…

She said she would would be on in yesterday afternoon so we left it at that. Then she never showed up. She hasn’t shown up for her shift today so I guess she made her decision.
