he was the King Who Answered

which in the grand scheme of things is quite the miracle

So is it just me or...
Spoiler: show
Are people thinking Bran comes back in a big way next season, and will be the one to "control" the dragons to kill the White Walkers?

I imagine Bran is gonna play a big role in the final battle(s) to come. I'd love to see him control one or all of the dragons and rain some real pain down on the Seven Kingdoms.

I know everyone wants to talk about big long zombie battle. But I thought one of the greatest moments of this last episode was Sansa finding out that Bran and Rickon weren't killed by Theon. It's the only splinter of hope in her entire life since she was betrothed to Joffrey.

What a beautiful moment.

By the end of the season I want Reek to either have manned up and killed Ramsay or be dead. Fuck that guy.

Real Talk: I hate Reek/Theon. I genuinely hope he dies. And I hope it's not a noble death.

i loved the exchange between tyrion and danny where tyrion says: "a ruler who kills those devoted to her does not inspire devotion."

Those were absolutely my favorite scenes of the episode. battels are nice and all, but to me they are like car chase scenes. usually drawn out and over the top.

there were three things got me with that battle scene that made it so over-the-top awesome:

1. it came out of nowhere (at least for us non-book readers)
2. we've been hearing so much about how winter is coming and the white walkers over 47 hours of tv, and we were finally rewarded with some amazingly cool details about them
3. everything else going on in the show from now on seems so inconsequential

Theon is one of my favorite characters even though he did unforgivable things. More thoughts in the book threads as I feel everything I say could be interpreted.

I loved the Tyrion and Dany heart to hearts, and seeing Jon Snow take out the white walker was fun, and Cersei slurping water off of the dirty ground was nice, but this still doesn't rank anywhere near the best episodes if I think I'm being honest.

Agreed, but it was probably the most entertaining one so far this season. I imagine the final two will be on par, thus having a strong finish to a season that was maybe a little meh compared to the others.

Yeah I liked the Tyrion/Dany scenes, but the battle wasn't even really a battle. It was the Wildlings getting their a*ses kicked. I am excited to see what Ramsey has planned for Stannis though.

best ep is probably the one with tyrion's trial, because of that scene
