He’s been dead for like 25 years and his two(?) albums are reissued every few years. He’s rarely talked about outside of very specific circles of diehard fans and general music fans of 90s singer songwriters. Is that overrated?

Ultimately Buckley had more potential in him than I think he had fully realized greatness, but there are 4-5 songs on Grace I really, really love, chief among them "Corpus Christi Carol." Man that's a lovely tune.

I guess I like actual good musicianship. The Clash strikes me as all (distasteful) attitude.

I just don't vibe with the style. i know it's unpopular of me ... I guess I'd maybe compare it to like, maybe The White Stripes? In that the style is more than the substance. But I like the white stripes
