I think that movie looks awesome. But I hate Kyle Mooney. He's not funny or interesting.
looks? as in aesthetics? because its really a plain looking movie.

I didn't think it was that bad either. I always like the now traditional Mother's Day opener. Elon Musk's monologue started out surprisingly good before stalling when his mom came out. The GenZ hospital sketch was bad and too long, what I thought the rest of the night would be like. Another Chloe Fineman talk show parody; I only wish we saw more of Kate McKinnon's Frances McDormand. The post Covid pre-taped bit was good and I though Update had one of it's better outings of the season. The Mario Brothers sketch was silly enough but I could have done without another Chad piece. I thought the closer, with wild west Elon's ideas and stilted line reading was pretty good. I'm surprised Miley didn't pop up in sketch. Musk's first sketch performance was shaky but I thought he settled down after that and was passable. I doubt he will be fitted for a five timers jacket though.
In the 10pm slot NBC ran a condensed last year's Adam Driver episode though it was obvious how much better the show could be and how Driver has established himself as one of the strongest recent hosts.
Two new episodes left, Michael Keegan Key next week is promising. The finale is the following week and I'm kind of surprised Loren gave the hosting duties to Anya TaylorJoy, from The Queen's Gambit, to wrap the year. Usually the last one of the season goes to someone who's more of a sure thing but maybe Anya will surprise us in her hosting debut.
I vaguely remember liking Bigsby Bear but barely remember its details.

No, I'm saying that the trailers appear to show what appears as though it could possibly be an interesting movie.
Weirdo.

That's a bummer to hear. I know we joke around with each other a lot but we also do have similar tastes overall. I'll still check it out for myself but I'm honestly a little less excited now.

Cold open and Prom Red Carpet, Muppets were funny
Update had a couple laughs.

Pretty average episode; I too liked the open, Muppets, and Update.
Finale next week. Sometimes it does seem they go for broke and it works or it’s obvious they just want to be done. I haven’t watched The Queen’s Gambit so I know nothing about Anya Taylor Joy and am going in blind with her.
