Vader is a integral part of this story joe, cmon. Worst example ever...you got me.
And i know they shouldnt bring anything from Mando 3 for example, but im still on the fence with Disney not doing it.

It wasn't a gotcha, TVG.
My point is that there are other integral parts of Kenobi's story.

yes, of course! i agree.
But you know disney might put Han there. Han is not integral to this moment. If something like that happens, it will be a bummer.
The same if they need to put Mando there saying something to obi wan or whatever

It all depends on the story and the execution. I'm not gonna rule anything out until I see it. But I take your point. It's not something I need to see. But if if works for the story it could be fun.

Mando is ten years old when this series starts.

We might see Morrison again as one of the clones -- Rex or Cody (which would be awesome!) -- but, yeah, there's no way Mando has anything to do with this.
I suppose there's some weird outside chance that they could figure out a way to get Grogu in here. But that also seems highly unlikely.

This is weird and I feel like SUPER unlikely. But this show takes place one year after the events of Solo.
There's a shot in the trailer that suggests a Wookie. And later there's a shot that looks like Han's blaster.
Are we... are we getting Han and Chewie in this thing?
I feel like, no, right?
If so, they just lost me. There’s NOTHING in the first movie that suggests anything other than them meeting for the first time there.
I don't think Obi-Wan and Han would meet -- they don't have to share any scenes togetehr. Because you're right. I don't think it is gonna happen, to be clear. But it is interesting.
I just remembered Chewbacca was in ROTS. That doesn’t bode well for this.

Re Blaster : so uncivilised/lightsaber: elegant weapon for a more civilised age
But!!!
It does look like Hans blaster (DL444?)
It’s obi wan holding that blaster.
But you’re not alone thinking there’s another Jedi involved.
My theory is obi wan gets off planet to lead them away from Luke. Him being there draws heat on the kid and puts him in danger. The biggest flaw in this whole plan of him being watching over Luke and making these new series. but something I’m sure they’ll deal with deftly.
That’s probably too simplistic but let’s see.

Chances
Ahsoka being in this :90%
Mando being in this:0%
Grogu being in this :0%
No way in the world to work either mando or Grogu in here. None. Zip. Zilch.
Let that idea go.
Ahsoka and maybe even boba fett? Highly Possible. Ahsoka by far more likely though and that’s not cos I’d love it. Narratively it would fit perfectly.

Could be Obi-Wan. That would make sense. But we also see Obi-Wan firing a different blaster immediately after. So it's curious.

Loving all this speculation, and can’t wait to see what happens.

Nah, I hope it's the same thing we've already seen a million times before and that everything plays out exactly as expected. That's way better.

It’ll be 90% that though. And 10% new stuff using stuff we know.
And people will complain about both.
Quelle damage
I’m gonna love it.

Why or how would he? You could say the force but that’s not how the force works:)
He only finds out luke is his son after getting boba fett to do a mission on it.
That was in the comics. And it’s awesome when he finds out.
I’m assumed to quote himself he “searched his feelings” to back up Bobas claim as he tells Luke to do.
One of The Most powerful force users didn’t feel anything different about Leia In their interactions ?
It seems odd.

Vader only sees the opportunity and to turn Luke after he learns though. There’s a whole scene with the emperor and Vader about it in empire. Not through any dna recognition through the midchlorians or anything:)
He only learns about leia through Luke trying to hide his thoughts and feelings about her when they are having that battle. It’s a big difference.
By your logic Why don’t Luke and Leia immediately recognise each other the moment they meet?
Force doesn’t work that way

He should have, AT LEAST, felt that she was strong with the Force.
I guess the apologists would say that she wasn't that strong, never became a Jedi, but she did "always know" that Luke was her brother.

Again. Being strong with the force isn’t the same as having the force or ability.
You’re forgetting her getting up in his face in a new hope. She’s fearless and Vader doesn’t bother her. That’s what hes gonna sense. Not any latent ability.
Or especially feeli it’s his daughter. Silly idea tbh.
If you’d said she reminded him of padme somehow just by her looks, you’d have more luck.
