I drive a 2006 Nissan Maxima and it came with a tape deck as well as a CD player.
Do you still use it?
I've had this car for two years and I've never used the tape deck.
I'm gonna send you mix tapes covered in stickers and full of songs that describe the feelings I have for you.

In fact, I think we all should. Someone start a "SEND CHUD MIXTAPES" Project thread.

Well, I'm just really bored and trying to pass the time here but I thought this was interesting:
http://www.metacritic.com/music/lightni ... /pearl-jam

Only 6 reviews in (and of course pitchfork and the pitchfork wanna-be's will surely have their PJ shitfest) but I thought it would be cool if LB managed to be the first PJ studio album on metacritic to stick at 80 or above.

Although the upward trajectory in final metacritic scores since Binaural (post-Yield era only) suggests this whole metric system is highly questionable (if not pure garbage):

Binaural - 69
Riot Act - 73
Pearl Jam - 74
Backspacer - 79
Lightning Bolt - 80 (after only 6 reviews)

Or the records keep getting better!

This time tomorrow, I'll have the physical CD it in my hands. After I drop off the little tacker at school, it's straight to the record store.

I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. It's just like Christmas.

So you're going to be hoping no one can tell you're jerking off underneath your sportcoat while you sit through Midnight Mass?

How in the world will you get it by tomorrow? It's only the 10th? Europe and Australia were getting it by the 11th but that's the earliest I heard of it being available anywhere?
