Dangerous Animals was pretty good, I had no previous awareness of Jai Courtney but he’s great in this. You pretty much know exactly what’s going to happen the entire time but still enjoyable.

I finally watched "The Plague" last night, my second "most anticipated movie of the year" (the last one was The Bone Temple); it was very good, especially for a directorial debut, but it wasn't exactly what I'd expected so I'm gonna watch it a second time to confirm my feelings on it

Went to see Hokum last night, at the Alamo in Brooklyn. Had fun and the movie is alright, its a nice spooky witch story. Scott was good.

Obsession.

Wow what a wild ride!! Loved it! Super weird and creepy and also funny. Cast was superb but damn Inde Navarrete was something else.
Spoiler: show
i love the moral aspect of the whole story. There is a scene with the leading guy basically raping the girl that left me speachless

I saw Obsession last night. It was a lot of fun. Not particularly scary but a good, fun time.

Lee Cronin´s The Mummy.

It was not bad, i like the premise a lot, but it got kinda boring at the end. Too long maybe. Its basically The Exorcist v Evil Dead.

Backrooms.

That was fun. Its a fun mindfuck. I got a little dizzy with a long pov sequence, but it kinda added up to the weirdness of it all. Liked the awful set pieces too, and the overall tone.

Undertone - I enjoyed many things about it and was going to put it moderately high on my year ranking so far, but it's faded from my memory since and hasn't left much of an impression; I may watch it again to see what I really think; I did enjoy that it's basically like watching a podcast filmed on YouTube, eg. Kermode and Mayo, and all of its ideas were nicely woven together

Backrooms! we really liked it, fab film, and Kane Parsons is one of the most articulate directors of any age I've heard talking about his craft

yeah, Parsons seems like a very cool dude.

Undertone was alright, specially if you watch it with headphones on your laptop, its not a particulary good movie but it has its moments yes.
