Trump saying Ukraine started it, and that Zelensky is a dictator. How are more GOP members not up in arms about his obvious sidling up to Putin? I have friends and family that still call the Russians "commies" and think we are in the cold war, yet they are supporting Trump on this. We can't be real, right? This is the matrix?

It's crazy and Trump is an imbecile.

cue the "you shouldnt believe everything trump says. he just rambles on in a stream of thought that is 10 levels ahead of what the average patriot can comprehend"

Pretty wild stuff. Putin having dirt on Trump is pretty obvious at this point. I think it goes deeper than them just being ideologically aligned.

Trump has now replied to Zelensky on truth social calling him a dictator and saying he better hold elections fast or he won’t have a country left.

I think we can put the ‘who is really pulling Donald’s strings and controlling him’ debate to bed now.

The clever way to negotiate with Putin is to offer him everything he wants right off the bat, and then throw wild accusations and threats at anyone who doesn’t want him to get his way.

At this point though, what could he have on Trump that would make his followers stop believing in him? Piss tape? they don't care. He murdered someone? Probably don't care. The only thing I can think of is some kind of pedo tape from Epstein island.

He’s just say it was fake footage. AI!
And they’d believe him.

Not surprising at all.
Zelensky thought Trump was going to back him over this war?

Zelensky has done nothing wrong in this.

I dont see it that way. He was integral in letting the US being in their territory when it was not allowed. Putin might have used it as an excuse? maybe yes, maybe no...but he even gave guns to his people to defend themselves in a war that was mostly lost since day 1. Then Biden and Europe failed at whatever plan they had, something i still dont understand.

Once Trump was a president again, it was kinda obvious he would end the war and make business with Putin.

Absolutely ludicrous take VG.

Norway has plenty of US soldiers here, we are really just asking for Russia to attack us. Expected better from you.

This only works if you were unaware of or ignore Russia invading Crimea and creeing in on Ukraine since then. And of course, Russia actually invading Ukraine and bombing it ever since displacing millions of people.

Strange take VG

Russia was also 100% behind the «opposition» in Donbas. Something even those who are against Putin, often fail to understand or mention.

Im not saying that Putin didnt take advantage of that, im saying Zelensky kinda hand it over a silver platter, expecting to be saved by europe and the US with Biden. That didnt happened because Europe mainly didnt really gave a fuck or didnt have the firepower and with Trump winning and making business with Putin, well, he is fucked.

Again, i have no contemplation for a president who pushed his people to use arms and fight while he was taking pics for Vogue Magazine.

He didn’t push his people to fight. He became the President in 2019, years after this war had started. Putin’s plan was to take all of Ukraine, but they have bravely fought against it.

You sound like you mean Ukraine should have given up?

The war started in April of 2014, and always 100% controlled by Russia. There is nothing Zelensky could have done to stop the invasion, than to surrender his country completely to Putin’s Russian ultranationalism. It could not have been done in that time, and would have been a betrayal of his people.

Zelensky has done a great job, in nearly impossible conditions.
