BOB clocked in at 3 hours. I think this is his second longest.
How the fuck did I miss that one?
Half hour in and talking about actually starting up the label and distro, fantastic stuff.

Love his interviews. Loved his "What makes this song great?" series. Hate his low effort, boomer-esque "DAE modern music sucks?" videos, of which he makes entirely too many. I guess he's pandering to dropkicks for clicks. Get that bag etc.

yeah, the Brendan interview was amazing. You could see Beato being such a big fan and using his chance to ask so much stuff.
I wish Rick had a part 2 were they talk about Audioslave, at least that first album, those sessions and Cornell.

Yeah, love when he goes in to what is great that he enjoys; those insights are tremendous.
Hearing Billy Squier's name is something, brings me back surely.

You know those sessions went really poorly, Cornell said as much

from the first album? i remember Chris and Tom being super happy with the songs and only having trouble with management, which resulted on both parties getting a united firm.
I guess cornell was fucked up and it was the beginning of the end with Susan Silver.

the bass line of The Great Apes is so fucking good. I love how loose it is, with John giving it so much space until he really goes for it in the chorus and solo.
Great fucking jam

damn this sounds awesome really.
Deep Kick´s jam is wonderful. I love what Navarro is doing.
Also, Flea´s bass in My Friends is subtle and quiet, and then in the middle section i love good he goes for something else along with Dave´s guitar.
Amazing work on both electric and acoustic too.

Walkabout sounds glorious guys. I know Navarro doesnt funk as good as John but this is pretty close...( i would think that his solo in Manson´s I Dont like The Drugs...also is pretty rhcp)
Forgot that John Lurie and Stephen Perkins played on this album too. JA´s camp was pretty close to these guys considering that Flea was going to play bass for them in 97 i think? or 96?

Damn these UL - Canteen sessions were good!! I remember rolling my eyes with Flea saying he and John were making great music again when they announce he was back but these two albums are just fucking good.
I know I talked about it before; but totally feels like the band making music during the californication era.
I hope they take the year off from touring and go back to the studio

Flea is working on a trumpet album and Anthony started dating some 12-year old, so there’s probably another couple years before we get another one
Diabolical.

Is John depressed or already into some ego trip?

Had he not come back in to the fold to replace Klinghoffer there might be one more person on the planet, guilt led him right back to scag.

John rejoined because he's a dumbass who doesn't know what a pre-nup is. Some great songs, but the Chilis really are some stupid motherfuckers.

Can’t recommend Anthony ‘s book enough for some very wild stories from them. Chad is the only very regular and normal dude.
I remember an interview around californication were he said he was the only dude who “never got sad or drugged out” of the band.
