This is so boring, Bammer! There is so much more better SJW shenanigans to put in this thread. This sort of thing shouldn't even qualify. Don't waste your time with this (actually-easy-to-understand (wait, is Bammer dumb?)) pronoun stuff.Bammer wrote:Oh it’s the grammar. That and the inconsistency. Grammatically incorrect pronouns? Out.

Yeah yeah ok. You glossed over the two-faced use of the pregnant woman for woke points. The Argonaut wrote:This is so boring, Bammer! I'm not sure why people let this post slide. Maybe because it's incomprehensibly dumb?Bammer wrote:Today's Seattle Times headline about the cops being found not guilty of murdering Charleena Lyles went out of its way to note in the headline that they are not guilty of murdering pregnant woman Charleena Lyles (at age 30, already had 4 other kids). My first thought is to put together a venn diagram of the people who use her pregnancy as an extra shot at villifying the cops compared to the people who marched through our local 4th of July parade shouting "My body, my choice" in response to the Supreme Court. It would be one circle. That's not necessarily a knock on pro-choice, I'm just saying it's a bit two faced. Do you value the life of an unborn baby or not? Pick one.
Appreciate it.Bammer wrote:Hey man, if you’re gay, bi, whatever, cool with me.
There is a clear distinction between being basically decent and respecting an individuals preferred pronouns and social enforcement of language corruption. The Argonaut wrote:Why are you troubled by this? It's like the least troubling thing in the universe. Think about other things
Bammer's post is the type of post that reminds me that humanity is ultimately doomed.Dev wrote:I'm not sure why people let this post slide. Bammer, thinks that is hypocritical to be pro choice, and against murdering pregnant women?
I actually can't even feel mad because I'm so confused. If the right-wing people are this dumb there is really no point debating them. You pretty much have to pity them. And I do think Bammer has epitomized their ignorance with his post. If these people take over the world it's over. This is the real threat to democracy. We have to be willing to do whatever it takes to defeat the growing threat of facism and populism. Remember, that they don't play by any rules and it's helping them gain power.

Does 2 x 2 = 5 or does 2 x 2 = 4?

Does language not evolve? Do your Negro friends have an opinion about it? Did math collapse into a blackhole when the Washington Commanders and Cleveland Guardians took to the field this year?Bi_3 wrote:Mickey wrote:Bi_3 wrote:There is a clear distinction between being basically decent and respecting an individuals preferred pronouns and social enforcement of language corruption. The Argonaut wrote:Why are you troubled by this? Tell me why that is wrong. Tell me how this doesn't lead to a Tower of Babel effect where innocent, well-meaning, and decent people can no longer understand each other. Tell me why those people won't resort to censoring their words and ultimately their thoughts for fear of crossing some high subjective, coded language taboo and hurting others. I am a Morlock so use small words.
Is this News & Debate? Or is it News & Posts That You Know Everyone Will Just Agree With, Nod Their Head, And Move Along?Dev wrote:I'm not sure why people let this post slide.
