I think Dragic will be great in this series and I expect him to lead Miami in scoring so I don't think I'm looking for a "random" Dragic game. He's been Miami's most consistent guy on offense. Only Marcus Smart has slowed him down so far.

I think at a really micro level a big indicator is going to be Bam's fouls. If he's in foul trouble the series is over. Miami has no chance if he's out of the game for extended minutes.

The Heat did an amazing job controlling or at least containing the paint against the Bucks, so I expect their defensive strategy to look more like the wall they built against the Bucks than the zone stuff they ran against Boston. Problem is that LeBron and AD are both more multi-dimensional threats than Giannis.

I will say this in Miami's favor though: I don't think the Lakers want to be in a close game down the stretch against Miami. Close games down the stretch could see some insanely active defense on both ends and will probably come down to who can get out in transition once or twice in the midst of what I'd expect to be half court sets where nobody can score easily.

I meant like a Jamal Murray 35+ points type of game, but yeah, he's been very good.

They'll have to mix up their coverages and schemes because Lebron will figure it out right away.

Oh okay. Yeah, that'd be great but I think it's more likely that he puts up 22-27 every night.

And yeah they aren't stopping LeBron or AD. The Celtics guys got their points all series long. I think the best to hope for is that they can make life tough on them and hope that nobody else gives them much. And they'll probably need to go on a run almost any time LeBron is on the bench.

I know this is the 2020 NBA but I'm actually really nervous about the Lakers size. I don't know what they could do to stop an AD/Dwight lineup with LeBron running the point. I guess the hope would be to shoot well enough against it that Vogel can't play that lineup. I just keep picturing putback dunks and second chance points for the Lakers if they're that big.

Also, if Bam is in foul trouble the Heat have no chance. Even if he's on the floor he doesn't defend the rim very well at all when he's in foul trouble. LeBron and AD will just kill Miami going to the basket.

Joe Johnson had this same injury against the Bulls when he was on the Nets. He played the whole series but he sucked hard.
