Biff's post didn't age well. Like 8 hours later, "comments from 10 years ago" doesn't even come close to covering all the stuff he's codified in his e-mails.

it's fascinating the raiders hired gruden again in 2018. they had to have heard/seen his email exchanges with allen and others. are background checks not part of hiring personnel? when did that investigation into the WFT break?

i guess what i'm saying is...cancel mark davis too.

also, i think it'd be hard for any team to take gruden on now. who wants him in a locker room?

Dad, I get that you’re about to pay a guy $60M so you wanna do your research … but digging through a person’s email before hiring them seems a bit extreme.

You find it, you fire the guy, fine. But where do you draw the line with pre-hire investigation?

not all, but some. i can't remember when that story about WFT broke, but gruden was exchanging emails with allen when a lot of the abuses with washington were going on. he was using his espn account if i'm not mistaken.

certainly teams have to do some form of background check on a prospective hire, and they'd be allowed access to that as part of that check.
