Indeed. Though I've learned there are no "special moves" in the world of jiujitsu, as it takes hard work to accomplish things that appear effortless to the untrained mind.

My mind is trained. I won't go to the Shaolin Kung Fu jeweler for lessons, even though his enthusiasm was a kick in the pants.

Re: The Work-Out Thread
Decent workout last night. I did better than expected with the weights but have some catching up to do on the cardio side. Going back tonight; planning to go four out of five days before a quick out of town trip.

Re: The Work-Out Thread
Really good results last night with weights considering it was my second day in a row. Feels like I am starting over though from scratch getting back on the treadmill; I have shit indurance right now.

Re: The Work-Out Thread
I'm finally over the crud but I'm working my way back. I did better on the treadmill today; only a 1 1/3 mile at better pace than last time. Trying to get my weight reps like they were a couple weeks ago; decidedly mixed results there.
Going back tomorrow for what I hope will be full on, all over workout. It'll be my last for a few days & want to finish strong into the break.

Re: The Work-Out Thread
Really not into it today but i had a pretty good chest and back workout. Did the usual chest press, rows, pec fly and pull downs.
Im looking forward to next week, Im gonna be working out at a friends house that has been lifting weights pretty much his whole life, so Im gonna try to learn a lot of new stuff so that Im ready to change up my whole workout once Im back at the gym. As I've said a bunch, Im intimidated by the free weights so Im hoping to learn enough next week to make it so Im not intimidated any more

I did the P90x Yoga today. I sweat a lot. I'm pretty fucking inflexible...

Re: The Work-Out Thread
Not quite the balls out gym trip I wanted but I can't complain. I was feeling yesterday's more than expected and tired quickly with the weights, cheating more often than not on the later reps. But it was my fourth in five days so it's all good; last one until Thursday.

just a light lady. I mean right now I can't bench presses any ladies. so just a small lady would be a good start.

i did 3 miles in 26 minutes the other night. for me, that's amazing. i've been busting it trying to get the time lower and lower. i think the frustration and utter disgust over everything happening in my life is pushing me during my workouts.
i'm loving it.
