They said it was a "bathroom break," but they've had those clips of his grimacing on the sideline. May be nothing, though.

The way the Spurs keep their discipline this late in the game when they are up by this much is something special. Any other team would be goofing off and let the Heat back in it.

This is their "A" game, kids.

If they can finish this off, would this be the best Spurs title team? Their 62-20 regular season would be the best of their title teams, and I know I would consider this the roughest group of playoff opponents they've had.

I think the 2004-05 team is actually my favorite team. That 7-game Finals against Detroit is my favorite series. I love defense!

Second would be the 2002–03 team. The Admiral gets his second championship and we get to tell Phil Jackson to shut the fuck up!

My second favorite series would be the Suns series in the 2006-07 playoffs when Big Shot Rob body-checked Nash. I live in Phoenix and fucking hate Suns fans.

This may be "the best" Spurs team ever, but I miss the mean and "nasty" Spurs teams of the past.

We'll see what happens when the Heat get Melo for next season. Then SA won't be so tough!

I'm not counting out the Heat just yet, but their body language did not look good in that second half at all.

I don't see how adding Carmelo Anthony helps the Heat. They need another 3 rotation solid rotation players and Wade needs to take a dramatic pay cut. He's due $43 million the next 2 years if he opts in.

I briefly tuned in and I noticed the same. LeBron looked like the only one that actually wanted to do anything.

people can blast the heat all they want about not making shots or not playing defense but i think it is more a credit to the spurs and the way they are playing than the way the heat are playing

Spurs offense just relentlessly attacks you (even when they're up 20) and demoralizes you in the process. It's the most beautiful thing to watch in the NBA. It's gorgeous.

I don't think it's hyperbole to say that those last two games were 2 of the best offensive performances in NBA Finals history.

I felt like the Spurs' defense last night was just as, if not more impressive than their offense. Their rotations and help d were a thing of beauty.

The spurs are great. There was a reason I've been terrified of them all year and rooting hard for OKC.

4 finals and 2 rings, not so shabby.

The revisionist "6 teams from the west would have beaten Miami" is really going to bother me, though.

This is just another example of "old school" team defense and ball movement on offense beating the new school approach to basketball.

If the Spurs pull this off, its modern day dynasty has to go right up there with Jordan's Bulls.

If this is the end of the road for the Bosh/Wade/LeBron Big Three experiment, it's worth noting that it failed to match the C's 3 championships in the 80s, the Lakers' five titles (70s to 80s) and the Kobe/Shaq 3-peat. The only category that the Heat win in this is the over-hyped one.

All that said, it ain't over yet....

I don't really buy this either. OKC and SA, that's it. Although, Dallas actually scared the shit out of me because they seemed to figure things out defensively towards the end of the year and in the playoffs. Also, Carlisle is a hell of a coach.
