I got in a very heated yet loving conversation with my jam band/bluegrass loving idiot friend the other night. We argued about what constitutes a "jam band". To me - it's obvious, but explaning it was near impossible.

Then my idiot friend said "Well ive seen zeppelin jam out dazed and confused, so they are a jam band!"



Can someone else answer this?
