Well, I think they'd recast.E.H. Ruddock wrote:I hope Leia isn't in R1. She'd look old a shit for the time it is set in.

I can imagine a way it would happen. But, yeah, I'm with you. I don't think it's likely.Strat wrote:Im sure she will be name dropped but i can't imagine them actually showing her on screen.
As someone posted in some thread a few days ago, that kid from Stranger Things could be a dead ringer for young Leia. That would definitely work.E.H. Ruddock wrote:I hope Leia isn't in R1. She'd look old a shit for the time it is set in.
R2 was in some merchandising ad I saw for R1 the other day.dimejinky99 wrote:durdencommatyler wrote:Look, Lucasfilm confirmed that Obi Wan is not in Rogue One.dimejinky99 wrote:I agree in one way. In another way there's no way lucasfilm would allow him just throw that out there. It's a major plot point. I think it's a misdirect
Also, there have been no plans for an Obi Wan prequel because 7-9 haven't played out yet...
Long story short, Lucasfilm is inadvertently confirming Rey is a Kenobi. Just makes way too much sense and I'll be shocked if it plays out differently.
Which is a total bummer. Because I still want Rey to be unconnected to any previously explored bloodline. I'd love her to just be Rey. But... the writing's on the wall.
I think you're answering a different question:)
Obviously Obi Wan isn't in Rogue One. 90% chance he will be mentioned though and probably by Bail.
Also, Gareth Edwards wouldn't answer whether Leia R2 and 3PO are in R1. Which I'll take to mean they are.
