Booksmart.
So, again what ever happened with the american comedy? Another formulaic movie thats so safe and bland it just hurts. Its a shame because Wilde has visual chops for sure, but he chose to make a another cute boring pc ¨comedy¨.

Destroyer was pretty good. Kidman did an outstanding job. I will say, though, that the scene where:
Chris follows Silas back into the bank following the botched robbery, has the drop on him from ~10 meters away, fires a few shots and misses despite being well trained with firearms, then is subsequently shot and killed,
was extremely fucking stupid. I had to take a minute there. Still, worth a watch.
Mid90s was okay. Jonah Hill desperately wanted to make his version of Kids, I guess.
The Mule was also only okay. I'm just glad Eastwood is alive and kicking by this point.

I was so turned off with Mid90s...and as time goes by i went from ¨good first movie¨, ¨i liked the framing¨ To what a piece of shit that was...Overblown and trying desperate to be hype and cool.

I think "good first movie" is probably the most fair assessment there.

It was well made, very modern Disney in form and style. Will Smith took a lot of space. Could have scaled him back a little bit. I liked the other main cast better. The songs fit well with the movie, and did not overwhelm it. Probably a bit much for young childen. We had a good time.
