Cool.
Judging from his Living Room shows anything he's writing now is gonna be heavy on Christian hypocrisy, which is really what Pedro is all about, so it kinda makes sense.
Surprised to see TW Walsh isn't involved.

Phoenix is really good.
I need to give it a few more listens, but it feels more like a Pedro album than a Bazan solo album, which was really my concern when he decided to make stuff under the PTL name again.

This was good, but he actually only played like 7 total songs because of all the chatter with the crowd.
It was great to get some insight behind Phoenix, but I'd rather have more music.

I really like Phoenix.
It feels more like a Pedro album than a Bazan solo album.
It fits well in the Pedro catalog. It's got all the typical themes.

First real review of "Strange Negotiations" is pretty damn good.
Brandon Vedder’s absorbing documentary centers on David Bazan's public loss of faith after rising on the Christian indie rock scene.
