top 15 song, no doubt about it.

I like the last minute, but a lot of times I have trouble getting to it.

Its Stone doing the initial lead during the "It's okay" part.....then it cuts to Mike at the end, right? I like that sleepy run and always wondered who was playing it.

This was my favorite song on the S/T album when it first came out. I heard it for the first time in years the other day, and I have no idea why I felt that way. It was pretty unlistenable, as I really dislike Eddie's voice on it and it is lacking depth. I seriously thought like I was listening to a demo.

It is shocking to me that people exist who love Pearl Jam and hate this song. It seems strange to me. I have been outspoken about not quite getting the negativity around here especially how passionately it can be directed at S/T and Backspacer.

Anyway, I was subbing when this came out and I had a long term gig at an all girl's catholic high school. The best part about subbing there was how studious the girls were. I would put the work on the board and they would do it. I remember listening to S/T in a quiet room full of 16 year old girls working on some math problems. Come Back was playing and after it finished a girl raised her hand and asked, "What was that song? It was amazing."

I ended up talking about it with the whole class. We were discussing the lyrics, talking about people we lost, ect. It was a really cool thing that just happened.

I had an absolute blast at the Philly shows. I have been to 69 shows.

Yeah, the recording of that show reveals a totally slamming performance.

Easily one of my favorite of 41 shows. Detroit and chicago 00 - they were in a fucking zone.

It was awesome. I had a really unique view sort of to the side but almost behind. I watched Matt and his bare feet all night. We went an gambled in Windsor after. I got to see the Silverdome (home of WMIII), had Quaker Stake and Lube for the first time, and watched OU stomp Texas 63-14.

It was easily one of the best 100 days of my life.

So bottom 3 is very relative when it comes to a Pearl Jam show and my experience.

I kind of took it as a bit of a joke. I am getting that vibe around here. I thought it was a tongue in cheek way to say, "cool story but you liked the Philly shows so I refuse to acknowledge any thing you say as credible, but really I am joking. Or am I?"

I felt more respected than I do when it seems that some of my posts just fall on deaf ears because of my board persona as an obnoxious pearl jam apologist.
