Not for us. Ours was a high school locker romance for the ages. It was 1997, after all. In a school full of uniforms, the shoes really make a person stand out. I wore green Docs. She wore old blue Chucks with sharpie all over them. We wrote notes to each other that would make Henry James blush. My parents hated the idea of her. Love Buzz was the perfect song for all of that.
