NLOTH has some real gems and real clunkers.
gems: title track, magnificent, breathe
clunkers: get on your boots, stand up comedy
never listened to songs of innocence more than once. wasn't bad, just didn't move me.
i'm always hoping for the best though.

I liked SOI and it really did have a whole new layer of meaning in the live setting with the split screen n all. The songs never stayed with me though. Not one.

I love U2, though admittedly haven't listened to the last album more than a few times. Joshua Tree through Atomic Bomb is spectacular. No Line has its moments. I'll be at the U2 show in Minneapolis on Friday. Beck is opening. I'm excited, it should be awesome. And I'm taking my daughter to her first show! Lucky kid.

We're seeing them in St. Louis. Taking our daughter as well. For a few months we've been going chronologically through the catalog... Rattle & Hum is her favorite time period, so this should work out nicely.

You're all perverts. It's my daughters first concert, she's 10. I was wondering if his daughter was around the same age.
