I remember in the first night of the BA shows, Eddie was telling something emotional and Stone tells the crowd.." he is full of shit" while laughing.
Classic.
Classic.

Re: Lets Talk About the 2005 Tour
I don't remember anything ever being offered in FLAC, but I just found some recently posted torrents on Demonoid. I haven't downloaded any yet, but here is the description from the poster:Wendy Carlos's Twin wrote:Is there any word at all if this tour is going to be released in CD form?
I wish they would fucking get on with it already. By the time they get around to it, I probably won't be interested anymore.
"Originally the Official Bootleg 2005 Tour was only available in MP3. Later, it was finally released in losseless FLAC format. I have here 14 shows from the 2005 Tour in original losseless FLAC format. I have burned a set of these to CD and they are pristine.
Torrents Divided into 7 parts:
Part 1
09-08-2005 Winnipeg
09-11-2005 Kitchener
Part 2
09-16-2005 Ottawa
09-19-2005 Toronto
Part 3
09-22-2005 Halifax
11-22-2005 Santiago
Part 4
11-23-2005 Santiago
11-25-2005 Buenos Aires
Part 5
11-26-2005 Buenos Aires
11-28-2005 Porto Alegre
Part 6
12-03-2005 San Paulo
12-04-2005 Rio De Janiero
Part 7
12-09-2005 Mexico City
12-09-2005 Mexico City
Why these 14 and not the others ? Simple, these shows are the only ones that have my favorite 5 songs in their setlist.

I don't know how to tell if these are legit FLAc's or just mp3 sourced being passed off as FLAC's. I just wanted to let everyone know this is out there.
Cheers!

They were officially released in FLAC a year or two ago.

He might as well have said I picked those shows where McCready did a guitar solo and Ed mucked up lyrics.

Re: Lets Talk About the 2005 Tour
I've got 8/29/2005 Missoula, The Gorge 9/01/2005, The Borgata 10/01/2005 and Philadelphia 10/03/2005. I've read some good stuff about some of the Canadian shows and was looking for a couple more. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

London and Halifax are the two Canadian shows that get the most love. I think they're great.TremorJam wrote:I've got 8/29/2005 Missoula, The Gorge 9/01/2005, The Borgata 10/01/2005 and Philadelphia 10/03/2005. Re: Lets Talk About the 2005 Tour
Thanks! The only thing I didn't like about these was that on some of the downloads, a few of the tracks weren't separated. I think they changed it when they released the FLAC files, though. They're different on livedownloads.com now. I usually just grab stuff like this from pearljambootlegs.org. They're only 128 kb's, but sound decent enough. It doesn't sound like some of the negative aspects of compression got them. The cymbals are crisp, so they're not bad.Wendy Carlos's Twin wrote:London and Halifax are the two Canadian shows that get the most love. The FLAC versions sound way better than the original 128's. I couldn't wait to get rid of them. I haven't heard the "new" MP3 versions but I would imagine those are better too.TremorJam wrote:Thanks! I'm going to listen to them first, then replace the lower quality files one at a time. I did notice a couple of inconsistencies earlier. My heart actually sunk when I checked the properties. 128 can be horrible.Wendy Carlos's Twin wrote:The FLAC versions sound way better than the original 128's. I couldn't wait to get rid of them. Excitement got the better of me for a moment. By the time I was done editing them in Itunes, reality hit.cutuphalfdead wrote:TremorJam wrote:They're only 128 kb's, but sound decent enough.

Re: Lets Talk About the 2005 Tour
The London show is incredible. The tags in Betterman and Not For You, along with a couple of jams were mind blowing. The RVM breakdown was another highlight. Ed sounds amazing. After 1 show, I'm hooked on this Tour..Thanks again for the thread!

London is a great show.
St John's 1 is one of my favourites from that period that doesn't get mentioned all that often.
