My brother works for Beth Israel (which is the Sox' official hospital, and they run the first aid stations inside the park etc.) and all through last year, he could just walk up to a ticket window on game day, flash his hospital ID, and pay $5 for tickets. I'm sure stuff like that was counted as "distributed" whether or not someone came to the window to pick them up.
