This is a solid and interesting show so far (3 episodes in), but it is WAY less kick ass than everything so far.

3 episodes in? Wasn't it just released today? Don't you have work man?

Paperwork day. 8-) I time them to coincide with Marvel/Netflix shows when I can.

I've found every Marvel Netflix show to be varying degrees of bad, so maybe this is the one I'll like.

Yeah so far I'm not sure why this got hammered the way it did. I've been enjoying it. The stakes feel lower than the other shows (so far) but it's been good (4 episodes in). Finn jones (or whatever his name is) has been perfectly charming as Danny Rand

If you havent been sold before I don't think this will be the show that turns you around, though

I loved JJ1, and enjoyed both DDS. LC was.good enough to get through. The first episode of this was impossible for me. I turned it off while laughing at it during the bit when the not-dead-dad is going through the list of very obvious questions raised by a reappearance of Danny Rand. I will not be returning to this one.

I don't know how you could be enjoying this, Stip. Didn't you see that it's getting bad reviews?

They made me skeptical for sure, and while I like the show there probably are some real issues with it, even if they don't bother me personally

Only one more episode and then I'm into unreviewed territory and I won't know what to think!

once i take in the whole series ill review it

I'm 7 in and while this moves more slowly than the other shows, it also doesnt feel like it is stalling (though that may be coming)

Jessica Jones not much, Daredevil and Luke Cage Yes.

The punisher show will be the best one.

So far I'd put this ahead of Luke Cage but behind the other three.

Having said that, my issues with Luke Cage were in the second half of the season, so we'll see where this goes. The problem I had with Luke Cage is that the season felt like it resolved halfway through and then they realized they still had 6-7 more episodes to go and had to find shit to do (which is worse than the minor padding in DD and JJ). Thus far Iron Fist doesn't feel like it has finished, so hopefully that doesn't happen.

I'd rank them as follows

1. Jessica Jones
2. Daredevil 2
3. Daredevil 1
4. (Iron Fist - if it maintains)
5. Luke Cage

It definitely has less to say than Luke Cage and JJ, and at this point feels the most like a retread (which, I suppose, it largely is). But the action is good and the characters are fairly compelling. I really like the subtle fish out of water way they are presenting Danny Rand. The supporting characters are far less flashy than they have been in the other series, but still well fleshed out. The relationship Rand has with the Meachums is interesting.

I watched and really enjoyed the Daredevil seasons and Jessica Jones... but it's REALLY damning if this is moving more slowly.
