True. Definitely no fight club ending

It was pretty good. The premise is a little flimsy so they kinda struggled to come up with stuff to do by the end, but it was enjoyable. The monster is generic but fine.

Loved the opening scene.

From what I see in the previews, the monsters look like the aliens in Cowboys vs. Aliens. Is this true?

This movie is super intense. I loved it.

I liked it a lot, super intense, really grabs you, looks great...and yeah, the production design is so fucking cool.

The real monster is the girl, she killed both her father and brother.

There is a line in the movie to explain the state of the world that is something like this "Guns and explosives could do very little against the creatures".
Just to later in the movie, kill a creature with the most generic century old design shotgun shooting some standard buckshot.

That really rustled my jimmies. It felt almost like some shit hollywood liberal propaganda trying to say that guns failed to keep us safe, just to one hour later they save the day with the help of a gun.

So this family could kill the creature with a shotgun and the army failed with much better weapons? Fuckin bullshit. A Ma-Deuse would mown those fuckers that looked like a rip off of the Resident Evil lickers.
