I liked everything about Spec Ops except for the gameplay. It was so generic.

Landstalker. Sega's version of Zelda was great, but never another entry in the series.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

that got a huge marketing push. great game, but not a sleeper.
None of my friends really knew about it or wanted to play it if I ever brought it around. But then again, I'm from a small town. None of my classmates really knew about things like Sonic Youth either.

Not a fan of this approach. YouTube clips for these games make for the best boarding experience.

I wondered if Uniracers would get a mention in here. That was a frequent rental when my brothers and I were young. I remember having a sore thumb from pressing so hard on the d-pad to try to win some of those races.
Anyone ever play Wiz 'n' Liz? My cousins had that one on the Genesis. Trippy little arcade style game that was a lot of fun with some interesting and some downright weird secrets locked away in it.
