I wasn’t a huge fan either. Goldeneye was so much better.

Goldeneye was the best goddamn game ever. Followed closely by Wave Race.

Holy shit, dude. I fucking love Wave Race. My parents gave my brother and me that game for Christmas when I was 16. We played it CONSTANTLY. I have actually busted that out with my kids a number of times. So good :heartbeat:

I would say Ocarina of Time, followed by GoldenEye.

I'd probably pick DKC as number 3.

Conker's Bad Fur Day was great. Sells for a shitload these days if you can find it.

My buddies and I used to play our own version of tag in multiplayer and laughed so hard. Loved this game.

There was an emulator that let you play games online. A couple of friends and I played GoldenEye a few times, but the emulator stopped working and eventually died.

I never actually had a 64 but everyone else I knew had one, so I played all the good games (and some of the bad ones, fuck Superman)

My brothers and I would play fucking hours of WCW/NWO: Revenge battle royal mode. Also Star Wars Episode I: Racer was she shit - fuck the haters.

Oh yeah, Episode 1: Racer was very good.

WWF: No Mercy is still the best wrestling game of all time.

God no. Both WCW games were way better.

Nah bro. Same engine, got better with each subsequent game. Plus, No Mercy had WWF wrestlers and a superior create a wrestler mode.

I kinda had a love/hate relationship with Paper Mario.

I loved the look of the game and the fact that they blended genres, but I'm still not sure if it worked entirely.

I think The Thousand-Year Door (on the GameCube) was actually better.

Same. I love the N64, but I think the GameCube is my favorite console ever.

GameCube is the one Nintendo console I’ve never owned.

Well I guess I don’t have the Switch yet either, but I plan to buy it sometime.

I liked Gamecube better too. Seemed like they learned how to 3D gaming with the 64 and got weird with it on the GC.

I'll never forget the night I played Rogue Squadron on Gamecube for the first time. It was magical.

For some reason I distinctly remember standing in line at midnight at Wal-Mart to pick mine up and The Strokes' first hit song was playing in the background and some dude said, "pretty cool song", and I said "yeah".

Nah bro. Same engine, got better with each subsequent game. Plus, No Mercy had WWF wrestlers and a superior create a wrestler mode.
I confused No Mercy with a different WWF game, which was horrible. I think the one I am thinking of, had Stone Cold on the cover.

Attitude? War Zone? Yeah, they both sucked. No Mercy was at the tail end of the 64's run and it was it was amazing. THQ switched from a WCW license to a WWF license halfway through the 64's lifespan.
