Please has always been one of my personal favorites.

that's another one that never really landed with me. But I'm looking forward to going back to a lot of material I haven't thought about in a long time.

So who here actually owns the experience album, and is it actually worth buying? Yesterday I Landlady for the first time and I kinda love it. Before hearing that song, the album was a total afterthought for me. Is the rest of the album any good?

I’m decidedly not a big fan of the first few albums. They aren’t offensive or anything, and there are a few standout songs, but generally it doesn’t do much for me.

Seeing the username "macphisto" is like seeing The Bat Signal for U2 fans.

Its decent, probably middle of the pack in their catalogue. Its not Achtung, Joshua Tree, or Zooropa, but its better than SOI.
American Soul, Summer of Love, the Blackout, The Little Things... all solid tunes. Red Flag Day kind of has an old school U2 feel to it. All in all, not a bad listen.

I’ll probably have to get it at some point. I just was in no rush because SoI didn’t impress me at all.

I've always hated all versions of Gloria. Sounds like some stocky white dipshit 14 year old made it up in his garage. The groove's not even that good.

Do I love U2 more when they’re working the sound only U2 can make (and make you feel) on pride or vertigo or city of blinding lights? Or the weird U2 left turn everything achtung /zooropa / no line
