So Valkyria Chronicles 4 was announced. 2 and 3 were never released in the U.S., correct?

E3 has kicked off. I've been using https://2018.e3recap.com/ to check out announcements.

So far:
I enjoyed the Hitman reboot, so I'll be keeping an eye on that.
Outer Wilds looks interesting.
Anthem looks hella dull.
I haven't played Titanfall, but people say good things, so I'm cautiously optimistic about Jedi Fallen Order.

I'm really hoping for Bloodborne 2, a new F Zero, and Mario Maker on switch.

New From Software game looks great! Like a faster paced Bloodborne with swords and some whip swing thing set in Japan.

Halo Infinite (probably Halo 6) on a brand new engine. That trailer was definitely an homage to the very first Halo trailer, back when Halo was a 3rd person shooter featuring exotic wildlife.

All four of the games featured in the PlayStation conference tonight looked incredible. All four are markedly different in art direction and tone. All four are single player games.

tragabigzanda wrote:nice. don't know anything about Stranding. Have seen cutscene footage from the other three, but i'm assuming they debuted gameplay footage at E3? i'll have to take a look.
The first three debuted gameplay footage (at least, I think that was Death Stranding gameplay).

At the Bethesda conference last night, they called Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI "next-generation games." Does anyone know if they've clarified if they mean "the next generation of Bethesda titles" or "on next-gen consoles, i.e. the PS5 and the X-Box-Two-XLLL"?

Definitely next generation of consoles. I'm guessing Fall 2020 for the consoles release.
