how long ago did you hear it last? because I listened to it last night and it was much better than I remembered.
C'mon Mary...
I'm completely serious, pete. I thought about it when I saw this thread and was like - yeah, not so hot on this one... so I listened to it, and remembered why it was a good song. I'm unashamed.

You still don't get it, do you?

5 stars. If there's such a thing as a subtle Wall of Sound, this song has it.

Does Yellow Moon still sound like Low Light to everyone?

I remember this being a common instant reaction to hearing Yellow Moon for the first time

I don't really care if it does or not, I love Low Light, and I'm starting to love Yellow Moon.

i greatly prefer yellow moon, but they're still similar songs. I don't think it matters in the slightest, but I hear the association

They're only similar in a few of the choices in the arrangement, especially the guitars. They're pretty different in feel, I think.

It's about as similar to "Low Light" as "I Am Mine" is similar to "Small Town".

there are a few moments where it really jumps out at you, and I think those places tend to stick in your mind and make the songs feel more similar than they probably are

I love, love Low Light.
One of my early favorites when Yield came out...never understood why they didnt play it live back then, but the premiere in the Bridge Benefit Concert 2001 was a good one.
Live, its a hit or miss kinda song..But the studio version is flawless.
And the production is awesome.

To me Yellow Moon is your friends little sister who all your other friends have hooked up with cause she's a whore. Your friend being Lowlight.
