I wish we could do a scientific perception study together.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Made it five minutes before bailing. Jesus Christ this show looks cheap.
That and the birthday party scene - both of these scenes were fantastic!durdencommatyler wrote:The final act of Ep 5 freaked me the entire fuck out. That was creepy as shit!
There has been at least one good creepy thing in every episode so far. Digging that.Rangi Guy wrote:That and the birthday party scene - both of these scenes were fantastic!durdencommatyler wrote:The final act of Ep 5 freaked me the entire fuck out. That was creepy as shit!
Except didn't Alan say that he looked exactly the same as when he saw him in the trunk of Dale's car?wease wrote:Well, with the explanation that was given about there being alternate worlds out there and Castle Rock being some sort of nexus for them, it’s not outside the realm of possibility. Of course, we don’t know exactly what happened to his mom at the end and what kind of powers the Kid has. An interesting quote from him to Pangborn at the end of episode 5 keeps coming to my mind: “You have no idea what’s happening, do you?”
That's correct. He hasn't aged at all as far as we know.Rangi Guy wrote:Except didn't Alan say that he looked exactly the same as when he saw him in the trunk of Dale's car?wease wrote:Well, with the explanation that was given about there being alternate worlds out there and Castle Rock being some sort of nexus for them, it’s not outside the realm of possibility. I’m actually kinda hoping it’s a young Pennywise.durdencommatyler wrote:That's correct. Ehhhh..... I don't know. I feel like it COULD be cool but it would have to be so precise. It has like a 97% chance of being completely stupid. Plus, IF they did that but they didn't make Mrs. Deaver Carrie, then it would feel completely off and inconsistent. Feels like a dangerous move to me.wease wrote:I’m actually kinda hoping it’s a young Pennywise.durdencommatyler wrote:That's correct. Is this 100% confirmed? It's been my hope since they announced this as an "anthology show" but I haven't seen any concrete confirmation.Rangi Guy wrote:I'm just glad that the second series is going to be a whole new story and that they're not going to drag this story out....
