Just found the issues from the journals of Ben kenobi. This is the story I was looking for.

The Ben Kenobi journal stuff is well done.

Are these readily available in stores? Or are they download only or what?

Stores and download. They are simply issues in the regular Star Wars comic.

download a cbr reader for your phone or laptop and then heres the timeline.. iveb been binge reading since the weekend..some awesome stuff, especially obi wans journals.

Yeah. Issues 7,15 and 20 for the obi wan journals. But another thing these comics do is they sorta weave into other issues. Like the Vader comics have follow ups in other issues. It's quite complex unless you just get them all and read through them. The timeline link in my last post is really helpful.

The tone is pretty true to what Ben's life would be on Tatooine. Completely alone. No one to talk too or interact with. Checking in on Luke from a far and occasional protecting the boy but doing it in such a way that no one knows there is a Jedi on the planet.

Vader is cancelled.

Today's my kid's birthday, and I got him a subscription for the Han Solo series. I'll report back.

Got caught up on the main title and the first 2 issues of the Solo mini tonight. Really enjoyed the Han series. Still have 3 issues of Vader to go.

CJC said there was some big "twist" or "reveal" (I forget which word they used) in the latest issue of the Vader series. Does anyone read that? If so, can you PM or Spoiler tag what the reveal was? I'm never going to read that comic but I'd love to know what's going on. Especially since it seems like Disney is taking this new canon prrrty seriously.

I think the new issue is out next week. I can't think of any kind Of big reveal that happened in the last issue. Well, an adversary that happened to be involved in his cybernetics being installed actually took control of his mechanical parts and it ended on a cliffhanger. Maybe that's what they were referring to.
