If I rewatched them both, I could MAYBE see D&D taking the #3 spot from The Truman Show on my list. But in no universe is it better than Eternal Sunshine or The Cable Guy.

It’s so much better than Cable Guy, it’s painful. I’ve argued for D&D in various discussions against the majority many times, one of the best comedies of all time.

Hmm I can’t decide if you’re a fucking idiot since you still didn’t rank it #1

I’m fine with you deciding either way.

I love Dumb & Dumber and Man On The Moon both, as two of my all time movies.

Man on the Moon is really really .... not great. I like it just fine but it's mostly a missed opportunity on balance.

Cable Guy has some classic scenes, and one or two AL scenes. But overall it falls a bit flat. D&D is one classic scene and performance after another.

I think the people in general are on your team, for sure. But Cable Guy is so weird and hilarious. It's long been one of my favorite Jim Carey films. I think I saw it four times in theaters during it's original run. It elevated Carey from a kinda funny weirdo up to a unique talent in my eyes. There's not much I dislike about the movie.

D&D is hilarious. Pound for pound, it probably has more yuks. I'm certainly not trying to disparage the film in any way. I get why people love it. But CG has always worked better for me. It's much more in my wheelhouse.

The Cable Guy is completely and utterly forgettable. I literally remember almost nothing about it, and it hasn’t been very long since I saw it.

The hilarity of the name "ein horn" in context was lost on me as an 11 year old in the theater.
