The Wire isnt really a cop show, but if you want to call it one it's certainly the best. Then there's The Shield and Homicide, and then a big drop.

Yeah, it's really good. Very dark and gritty, touches on subject matter that not alot of tv shows do. It also has the best final episode of any show I've seen.

Enjoying "Wallander". Kenneth Branagh is great. Another one with a relaxed pace, where mood and setting are as important as plot twists. The Brits know how to do cop shows.

Only 4 episodes. Renewed for season 2.
UK has some of the best shows right now.
