I asked some people I work with who barely remember PJ and they said Betterman.

Could this maybe be due to Jeremy being known for having a very famous music video? Although, completely anecdotally, I would have said Jeremy as well.

yeah, i'd say that's the case. that was a pretty iconic video of the 90s. i'm a big PJ fan, and i can barely remember scenes from the Alive video. i haven't seen the Jeremy video in probably a decade, but i remember almost every scene in my mind.

For me it was Last Kiss. I knew nothing else but maybe corduroy and picked up Live in Tokyo at walmart ona whim, bought lost dogs almost immediately after and dove deep into the pj catalog.

Just Breathe is their biggest selling song.

Last Kiss is their highest charting song in the US (#2) followed by, uh, I Got Id (#7).

But it's probably got to be Alive.

Interesting that they don't really have a signature song like Teen Spirit or Black Hole Sun. You could make a case for any of the big hits off Ten.

I think it depends on location. From an Australian perspective, I think Jeremy seems like a relatively minor hit from the first few albums.

Daughter and Better Man are probably the standout songs that non-fans would recognise. They're played in supermarkets and stores all the time.
