I’m not seeing a video anywhere for it - if I had to pick a favorite song I think I’d go with Ring That Bell.
Per the OP for some reason he never enjoyed the widespread success and recognition that he should have. Just an amazing musician.
I got to see him live a few times - but not nearly enough.
As I recall he had been having some health problems and I think made it public knowledge that he was struggling to pay for his medical care.
I am really hoping he didn’t kill himself on April 5th. That would be wild and unbelievably depressing.
RIP

Died in his sleep. Complications due to diabetes apparently.
Ring that bell is a personal favourite of mine too. When I saw him play Birmingham on the diamond hand tour he was taking requests and that was the one I suggested, and he played it fantastically.
A tremendous talent. Badly managed, I think. Should have been a star.

Very sad day. Just coping with it by listening to his work. I've been a fan of Satchel and Brad since the 90s. Also been listening to Pigeonhed, Crittes Buggin, and his solo work today. Still think his finest work was with Brad and Satchel.

This has made me particularly sad. Buttercup and Believe In Yourself tore me up today.

Agreed. 'Shame', 'Interiors', 'EDC' and the 'Family' are all amazing. I would consider 'Shame' his masterpiece...

I haven't listened to much of this dude's music but I've always had a soft spot for Pigeonhed. "Fire's Coming Down" is an all-timer.
